Voice Mail in performance at Emancipation Jam held at Jamalco Sports Club on Monday August 1, 2005. - NATHANIEL STEWART

LOCAL DANCEHALL GROUP Voice Mail took their brand of music to the international scene recently, as the members invaded Japan on a two week trek to promote their recently released album Hey.

While in Japan, Voice Mail did interviews with various media houses including MTV Japan.

Voice Mail's debut album Hey, which was released in January, is only available in Japan. By early summer, their fans in Jamaica, the US and the Caribbean will be able to access the 20 track album. Christopher Birch, Robert Livingston, Donovan Bennett and Nigel Staff are among the producers who worked on the album.

Known for hits such as Weh Di Time, Ready to Party and Do What You feel like Voice Mail is currently making strides on the charts with Get Crazy.
