THE INDUSTRIAL GAS Limited (IGL) Curry Goat Cricket Series will descend on the Sunshine City of Portmore today and tomorrow at the Bridgeport Sports Ground.
A 50 overs-a-side match between the IGL Blue Flames and a Portmore Invitational Team will highlight today's activities. Match time is 10:00 am.
The crowd coming out for tomorrow's event will enjoy a cricket festival that is geared at getting out the family for a day of fun, frolic, cricket, soup and food.
Proceedings bowl off with a family game of cricket between 9 a.m. and noon. Then, at 1 p.m. a 20/20 match between players from Ken's Wildflower and Elevation vs. defending champions Portsmouth combining with players from the remaining four teams in the league.
The Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) endorses this event.
