Port Authority lift KO title

PORT AUTHORITY WON their first KSAFA Business House Football KO title when they defeated National Commercial Bank (NCB) 3-1 in last Saturday's final at the Cable & Wireless Sports Club.

NCB started out more purposeful and took the lead when George Clarke converted a cross from Christopher Wisdom in the 17th minute beating goalkeeper Derrick Grant.

Port Authority found the equaliser in the 34th minute when Rohan Clarke beat Leon Lord with a shot in the six-yard box. The half ended 1-1.

The second half was an even affair with both teams missing scoring chances. This changed in the 65th minute when a pass by Errol Mohamid beat goalkeeper Lord and fell to the feet of Clarke who put the ball into an empty net.

Mohamid got his team's third goal in the 70th minute when he scored from close in.

Shots to goal by NCB's Victor Riley, George Clarke and Christopher Wisdom were thwarted by excellent goalkeeping by Delroy (Daddy Floyd) Grant of Port Authority.
