Zumjay presents - Dancing Team

"THIS IS THE dancing team, and wi know say we style dem mean, black, gold and green--" Zumjay sings in one of his latest songs.

Well the deejay and several other persons turned out in their Jamaican colours, black, gold and green, recently to film the video for the single, 'Dancing Team'.

'Dutty Guitar Rhythm

The video is directed by Zumjay and Leighton Williams of Visualeyes. The first part of the video for the song, recorded on the Dutty Guitar Rhythm by Media House Productions, was shot at St. Patrick's Primary located in Waterhouse. It will be completed this Friday at Hype Fridays held at Sherlock Crescent.

Zumjay told THE STAR, "Basically we came up with the concepts for the black, gold and green." The St. Patrick's Marching Band of Waterhouse is also featured in the video.

"I used the St. Patrick's Marching Band because of two reasons - the community I grew up in and their colour is black, green and gold."

Clad in the Jamaican colours, some of dancehall's most popular dancers including veteran dancer Bogle will be featured in the video, along with Ice, Keiva, Boysie and the Cadillac Dancers.

The video is to be completed in the next ten days, Zumjay told THE STAR. It will be released on some of the popular television stations such as RE TV, Hype TV, Music Plus, CVM and TVJ.

Zumjay plans to release another video for the summer called 'Sticky', directed by Nordia Rose on 'Lenky's' latest rhythm. He added, "In the first week of August mi also have a Smirnoff Ice Medley for the Renaissance 'Steps' Rhythm and my song name Steps to."

Featured artistes on the 'Steps' rhythm are Bling Dawg, Tami, Assassin among others.
