I can't function without him

DEAR PASTOR,

I am a 22-year-old student studying in the United States of America. I am in a relationship with a guy in Jamaica whom I love very much. Lately, I am depressed. I can't function. I really miss him. My grades are great but at nights I feel so lonely. All I can do is to think on thememories we share.

What is your advice?

A.S., Arkansas

Dear A.S.,

You feel lonely because you are normal. You are accustomed to having a man in your life. But you must set your priorities and right now the most important thing is your studies. The man in Jamaica will not run away. He may or may not get involved with another woman. When you are lonely, play good music, call him on the telephone or email him. Talk to other friends also on the Internet. Go out sometimes with your girlfriends.
